Allied Health Assistant (AHA) – Speech Therapy Support

Overview

Our Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) work under the close supervision of our experienced speech pathologists to provide additional support for your child’s therapy. They help reinforce therapy goals, provide practice opportunities, and assist with speech and language activities.

What This Support Involves:

 
  • Practising speech sounds, language, and communication skills
  • Supporting literacy and phonological awareness exercises
  • Implementing strategies provided by the supervising speech pathologist
  • Monitoring and recording progress
