If your child is stuggling at school or home with following instructions, or completing a task, it can be difficult to figure out why.
The quiz below asks some simple questions about your child, to assess whether they may be more likely to have an auditory processing disorder (APD) or an attention disorder.
The quiz is not intended to be used as a diagnostic tool, but merely to provide some guidance for you. It is important to note that a child can have both an auditory processing disorder and an attention disorder. A thorough hearing assessment will be able to provide a clear diagnosis if there are hearing, or processing, problems.
